These are common suggestions among users from GTA Forums on what to improve on LDYOM!
- Better and easier node system
- Bugfixes (more on that will be at the bottom of the page)
Thanks to Carlo_Magno for these suggestions:
- Possibility to add peds stuck to any vehicle (such as the mission on the wrong side of the tracks)
- Multiple variation of guns on the peds (bmiry can have ak47 and grenade)
- Add text and objective, while we drive to a place we can see a talk/discussion with the copilot character
- Description of why the mission failed, the car exploded, a friend died, time is up, etc... (Description by the designer, not by deafault. Example: "Mission Failed Rick killed to Neegan")
- Marker of position on the races, if have 10 peds and the player get the 5to position show "Position 5/10" (like the original races from the game)
There are alot of common bugs happening in LDYOM - one of those is that we can't use LDYOM with normal DYOM installed. Make sure, you make another GTA:SA copy with DYOM in it, and another one with LDYOM - otherwise when you'll start your game and head straight into DYOM - your game will crash. If that occurs, first play LDYOM and then DYOM. But that is not enough, there also other bugs like:
- LDYOM UI (when you press ,,U'') appears in both Singleplayer and DYOM normal version
- Character freezes at certain points (thanks to Github issues)
- Installation issues for some users - Basically, users would want a simplier installation
- Black Screen while doing Shift + 1 (! button)
Basing by Leon Luther response on GTAForums for the questions that Carlo_Mango asked I most likely to inform that there are not all features implemented there, so far I checked the last version (which is 0.7.2) or Node System is too much advanced in order to fully understand it.
What could be done for Node System is to make it a bit more understandable, or easier - if player sets cutscene, after setting it nodes will automatically assign correctly in the graph.
